Shanghai Solar Eclipse Video Tribute

Made this video as a tribute to Team Shanghai of UP Astronomical Society that set foot in a foreign land to document the longest Total Solar Eclipse of our lifetime. The overcast spoiled what otherwise would have been a spectacular view of the corona. On the other hand it felt surreal experiencing 5 min and 58 seconds of darkness in the middle of the morning. Go Team Shanghai ! I miss all of you!

About this blog

I am a true blue Pinoy who came from a Europe backpacking trip recently. Many Filipino friends I know, dream of backpacking across Europe but never got to do it or abandoned the idea altogether. Coming from a middle-class family with lots of financial obligations to settle, it took me quite some time to pursue this dream. The adventure has changed my perspective in life. If I have done it, there's no reason why others can't . I have decided to write down my escapades (and booboos as well) to motivate, convince and inform those who plan to visit Europe even on a shoestring budget.
